Thomas Lafayette- Right Hand Man 1948-54
[Kokomojo210]
$13.00

This is the first volume of recordings that Lafayette "Thang" Thomas recorded under his own name & with other Bay Area bands.  The influence of Thomas' playing on Bay Area blues players was extensive with Johnny Heartsman citing him as a major influence. His jaw dropping solos contain quirky ideas that work within the song and never overstep the songs intent but add a fresh, edgy feel. He really shines with the Blues Blasters recordings which Jimmy McCracklin cited as some of his best............
