Smith Byther-(2CDS) Working Mans Blues
[Jsp2510]
$20.00

Influenced by Otis Rush, Magic Sam & B.B. King, and with a clear declamatory vocal style, Byther Smith has been a favorite here since the late 1980's  His recordings consistently mine the rich West Side Chicago sound and his originals are quirky & interesting.  This set offers a glimpse into his early recordings with five 45's from 1962 thru 1976.  There is a stellar live recording from Belgium which shows his band to be on the mark.................
