This collection covers less than five years of Toussaint's remarkable career, beginning with his first solo recordings in 1958 under the name Al Tousan and includes his entire1958 album The Wild Sound Of New Orleans as well as singles from other labels.  Tracks 21-32 concentrate on his work as a session musician & feature some of the iconic sounds he was a part of in the 50's-60's.............
