Two long time Houston performers team up for a wide ranging set of blues & soul........Milton is a cousin of Lightnin Hopkins and was a member of the Texas Upsetters during the late 50s & 60s.........After backing Little Richard- Jackie Wilson- Dee Clark and many others Milton joined BB Kings orchestra and toured the world for a decade.  Back in Houston for the past 30 years this is his first recording under his own name.  His swinging guitar work is featured on showcase instrumentals BACK TO THE SHIMMY & TATER TOTS...... Jewel "Teasin" Brown recorded for DUKE / PEACOCK in the late 50's and toured as featured vocalist for Louis Armstrongs orchestra for years before returing to her Houston roots a few years ago.......This set showcases their decades long talents with a sympathetic and soulful band.......................
