Jones Johnny- The SESSION Years 1956-1966
[Superbird1327]
$17.00

24 recordings featuring guitarist Johnny Jones from between 1956 and 1966. On most of these sessions either Jimmy Beck or Johnny Jones were the featured soloists. In the early 1960’s Johnny formed The King Casuals who performed regularly as the house band at the famous New Era night club. When Johnny Jones left The King Casuals to form The Imperial Seven, (later called The Beat Boys), Jimi Hendrix replaced Johnny in the band. Johnny and the Imperial Seven became the house band for Bill “Hoss” Allen’s “Athens” and “Hermitage” record labels, as well as the house band for the Nashville television show “Night Train” in 1964 and 1965..............
