This is a great little collection of Otis Spann's material. The sound quality is good (except for St. Louis Blues). The liner notes are a throw away. They are not well written, and add very little to the biography of Otis Spann. After listening to this CD, you'll probably want to head over to purchase any Bluesway recordings, and the Candid sessions. A great little introduction to Otis Spann and others playing with him.
