A very fine album from Gene Taylor. Great song selection and a very sympathetic band make this a solid release from start to finish. Gene's voice and piano are really good and he gets to do more than just boogie here. The other leads, sax and guitar (Nick Curran on two songs) are wonderful. The European guitarist has a wonderful touch. You can't go wrong here.
