Fat box guitar, great vocals and excellent songs! Lewis was an early experimenter with electric guitar and the results are often amazing. The solo's are uniquely structured and executed with a complete lack of precedence, the songs are the usual late 40's collection of big legs, bulging eyes and lost love, and "Babyface" delivers the words with feeling. Originally released on ALADDIN, MANOR, and ATLANTIC, only two of these songs have evewr been re-issued before. The unconventional approach of Lewis makes me think he is Jr. Watson's grandfather!!!
