In 1974 Johnny Fuller recorded his debut album, Fullers Blues for the small Australian label Bluesmaker. On most of the tracks he is accompanied by the Phillip Walker Band who offer wonderful support to his laconic, low down songs.....Fuller was a cameleon in his earlier recorded sides covering everything from stinging doom laden West Coast blues to pop orientated recordings such as Haunted House & You Got Me Whistling. This set stays true to the blues and is a wonderful addition to the growing legacy of West Coast/ Bay Area blues recordings.......
