What more can be said of a guy who has played with everyone from Ringo Starr to Miles Davis?  With over 2500 studio sessions in his discography you could say Cornell Dupree has been around.  He was on the classic DONNY HATHAWAY LIVE recording as well as RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA by BROOK BENTON as well as sessions with ARETHA FRANKLIN-- KING CURTIS-- BILL WITHERS-- BONNIE RAITT and hundreds more......This was his final studio session, done just 8 weeks before his death with a solid band of Austin  musicians including  Mike Flanigan on B3 Organ-- Nick Connelly on piano-- Kaz Kazanoff on sax & Frosty (yes, that Frosty..from Lee Michaels)  on drums.............Uncle Funky works out on a program of covers and originals that have a subtle blues- funk feel and bring to a close the incredible career of this Texas guitar slinger............
