An extremely well played & entertaining set from the strong vocalist / guitarist from Oregon.......Lloyd has always had better than average releases and this one could be his best yet.....he has forged a career of more than 30 years as an impassioned singer, a fierce guitar slinger, a clever songwriter, a bandleader, a record producer, and an almost strident torchbearer for all that is true and good about American music........Strong "Delbert McClinton" style vocals and a modern upbeat sound will appeal to modern blues lovers worldwide.........If the blues has to evolve, this is a good direction..........
