Sonically interesting samples (including Robert Ward, Rufus Thomas & Jimmy Mc Cracklin) are sprinkled throughout this funky beat heavy release. While not a blues record per se, it retains the tones & textures of the music we love and re-assembles them in an interesting way. This is not for everyone, but if your ears are bigger than b flat, give it a try.
