Two CD set containing a pair of albums originally on the APALOOSA label from the late great Blues man....... Homesick James was one of the last of the first generation Chicago Blues men. Originally from Tennessee, he went to Chicago in the 1930s and began his recording career in 1937 and travelled on the road through the '40s. He played bass with his cousin, Elmore James in the 1950s and participated in some of Elmore's greatest recordings..............
