Magic Slim & The Teardrops have developed an international reputation as one of the best blues bands around. The four-piece grinds out bone-crunching shuffles and hardcore urban juke sounds with what seems like the greatest of ease. Their repertoire is remarkable, including several hundred songs, and one never knows what gem Slim will pull out of his huge cowboy hat next.
* The sides included here are from a number of sessions recorded for Wolf Records from 1986-1992, as well as tracks from a previously unissued live recording made on a European tour in the early '90s.........
